Maya Hieroglyphics Game - Historisches Museum der Pfalz Speyer

As part of the large special exhibition Maya - The Riddle of the Royal Cities at the Historical Museum of the Palatinate in Speyer, PONG.Li designed an interactive game on Mayan hieroglyphic writing. In addition to deciphering individual hieroglyphs, the complex language system is taught in detail and in a playful way. The hieroglyphic signs, of which 800 are now considered to have been deciphered, are divided into pictorial signs (logograms) and syllabic signs (syllabograms), which are taken apart like puzzle pieces in the game to explain their individual meanings.
